Xgeva  Noteworthy for massage therapists- atypical femoral fractures have been reported with Xgeva.  These fractures can occur anywhere in the femoral shaft from just below the less trochanter to above the supracondylar flare.  Atypical femoral fractures most commonly occur with minimal or no trauma to the affected area and may be bilateral.  Patients may report dull, aching thigh pain, weeks to months before the complete fracture.  Imagine not realizing what this drug can do to your client and you do deep massage on their thighs.
